Deadly crash on Loop 101 in Glendale

At least one person was killed in a crash on Loop 101 near 67th Avenue in Glendale.

GLENDALE, Ariz. - Loop 101 in Glendale has reopened after a deadly crash, according to the Arizona Dept. of Public Safety.

At least one person died in the three-vehicle collision near the 67th Avenue exit early Friday morning, but authorities did not release any other details about how many others were hurt.

All westbound traffic was forced to exit at 59th Avenue, causing major traffic backups in the area.

The freeway has since reopened.
