The Higher Learning Commission changed its by-laws in 2012 to prohibit accreditation for schools that are operating divisions of a larger organization.

The Farmington Daily Times reported Saturday that the court dismissed the appeal of Navajo Nation Council Speaker Johnny Naize on Aug. 22 because he did not file required paperwork in time. According to the two-page ruling, the lower court record and transcripts of the proceedings were never submitted before the Aug. 18 deadline.

Pooley said that when the venue opened its doors at 3 p.m., the girls all rushed all at once, causing minor injuries.
