After bouncing back and forth from the west and east coast, Courtney is happy to be back in her home state of Arizona doing what she loves; reporting the news.
She comes to us from Myrtle Beach, SC where she launched a new weekend morning show for WPDE. Courtney anchored Good Morning Carolinas and reported during the week. She was the go-to gal for crime stories. She also reported on several long-standing missing persons cases that grabbed national attention.
Prior to Myrtle Beach, Courtney was a reporter and fill-in anchor at KREX in Grand Junction, CO. In Colorado she covered the legalization of marijuana, civil unions, the Aurora Theater shooting, gas and oil development and wildfires.
Courtney earned her B.A. degree in Journalism and Communications from the University of Arizona.
She discovered newsrooms would become her second home while interning at several stations in Tucson during her time at the U of A.
She looks forward to volunteering with the American Cancer Society and Diabetes Association.
She's excited to have mountains back in her life, along with great ‘real' Mexican food.
When Courtney's not working she enjoys baking, improving her inner yogi, and most of all, spending time with family and friends.
