Giant alligator take trip to Savannah golf course

SAVANNAH, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - A group of golfers in Savannah, Georgia got quite the surprise during an outing on Sunday.

A giant alligator wanted to join them, but he didn't ask to hang out with them on the green. He just strolled straight onto the course.

Golfer Ed Vance immediately took out his phone.

His partners were ready to split, but not before capturing the moment on camera.

"Oh my God," a nearby golfer says in the video. "Y'all wanna play through?"

Vance posted the video on his Facebook page, saying the group could hear the alligator's feet as he made his way across the green.
