RECIPE: Healthy salad dressings

When we think about losing weight and getting healthy we often decide to eat more salads; however, bottled salad dressing can pack a hearty punch when it comes to calories!

Try making these dressings at home which will help keep your waistline in check and offer loads of nutritional benefits.
 
Zesty Italian

Ingredients:
3 Tablespoons white wine vinegar
1 small squirt of Dijon mustard
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 tsp onion powder
1-2 cloves finely minced garlic
1/2 tsp each of thyme, basil and oregano
Salt and pepper to taste


Raspberry Vinaigrette

Ingredients:
1/2 cup white wine vinegar
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
2 teaspoons honey
Blend in food processor till smooth.
