Recipe: Marshmallow from scratch

Ingredients:

  • 2 TBSP gelatin
  • 1 ½ C sugar
  • 1 C corn syrup
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 C cold water
  • 1 TBSP vanilla

Directions:

  • Combined sugar, corn syrup, salt and ½ of the water in a sauce pan and bring to boil. 
     
  • Cook to 240°. 
     
  • Pour remaining cold water over gelatin until it blooms and start mixing it. 
     
  • Pour hot mixture over gelatin and beat.
