7-year-old with 14 brain surgeries swims laps to support other ill kids

A valley girl has had 14 brain surgeries, and she's just 7-years-old.

Aria Anderson recovered from her 14th brain surgery a year ago with the help of free music therapy. Donations from Blake's Miracle Foundation made it all possible.

Anderson is training to be a swimmer in the Blake's Miracle swim-a-thon and float-a-thon so that she can give back to other kids undergoing treatment at Cardon Children's Medical Center.

Just a few weeks ago, Anderson couldn't swim one lap in a pool. To get ready for the swim-a-thon, Anderson has been training at least once a week at SWIMkids USA.

Blake's Miracle Festival is named after Blake Whitehead, who lost his battle with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in 2006.
