WITTMANN, Ariz. (KSAZ) - An investigation is underway by the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office after human remains were found northwest of the valley.

The discovery was made in Wittmann late last night when someone found a human skull in an abandoned shed and brought it to the fire station.

A fire department employee told FOX 10 that the skull was intact but missing a jaw.

All of this is happening near 310th Avenue and Olesen in Wittmann.
