US marine searches for puppy allegedly stolen from car

A US marine driving through the valley on the way to his base in California ended up becoming the victim of theft.

His car was broken into, but the only thing missing was his pet Siberian husky. Now he's on a desperate search. He's launched an online campaign to find his dog. He's posted to Craigslist, all over Facebook and on missing pet websites, hoping someone returns his dog.

Justin Tullok, is a marine stationed at 29 Palms and he says someone broke into his car and stole his 10-week-old Siberian husky, Adonis.

He says it happened as he was passing through Arizona with his wife. The two were visiting the Wildlife World Zoo. Tullock says he left the dog in the car with food and water, but when he came back his window was broken and the dog was gone.

"Ever since last night I've been posting on Facebook," says Tullock. "I went to humane societies just trying to find my dog."

The dog was a gift from his wife. She lives in North Carolina while Tullock has been stationed in California for two years. The dog was a way of keeping him from being lonely.

"She got me the dog to fill that comfort zone," Tullock said.

Now he's asking the public to keep an eye out for this black and white blue-eyed Siberian husky and hopes someone reunites them soon.

"It would mean the world," Tullock says. "I've been wanting a Siberian Husky for a hot minute. It would mean the world. I wish they got everything else in the car instead of him."

Tullock says he reported the missing dog to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Department and in the last few hours, he received a tip that someone may have spotted his dog. He's returning to Arizona to continue the search for his pet.
