Dr. Geffner described psychological tests that showed Jodi Arias suffered from anxiety, depression, isolation, and thoughts of suicide. When asked about treating her he said he was only there to make observations about her and not give her any treatment. He noted to the jury that she was not faking any symptoms.
He testified that Arias allegedly spaced out during some of the interviews he had with the convicted killer.
Geffner also described episodes where Travis Alexander allegedly blew up with a hot temper and pushed Jodi Arias down.
The content of Jodi's journal was also discussed where Arias wrote that she thought Alexander only wanted sex from her. Geffner said that during previous relationships Arias had up and down moments, but while dating Alexander she started having suicidal thoughts.
Frequent sidebars slowed the cross examination to a crawl.
The trial resumes Thursday.
