Jodi Arias sentencing retrial: jurors hear graphic texts

The Jodi Arias sentencing retrial is back in session and jurors heard some very graphic sexting messages between Arias and Travis Alexander.

Some of the message details are too graphic to post in this story. Basically the prosecutor was trying to show that Jodi Arias was very enthusiastic when it came to her sex life with victim Travis Alexander.

Psychologist Janeen Demarte was on the stand and only questioned by the prosecutor.

She said police interviews showed that members of Arias's own family didn't especially like her very much.

Co-workers said she acted inappropriately with colleagues, and one witness said Jodi gave her number to a man on the flight back from Travis Alexander's memorial service.

Then the graphic sex texts were read. All of this meant to show Arias in a bad light, and contradict what the defense has said: that Arias was passive and abused Alexander.

The sentencing re-trial has now gone a month and a half longer than it was expected to and there is no word on when it will wrap up.

The jury gets to decide if Arias gets life in prison or death.

Court resumes at 9:30 Wednesday morning.
