The mystery surrounding strange lights in the sky...solved!

Did you see those strange lights in the sky over Glendale last night? Many viewers tell us they did.

Fox 10 viewer Jason Schwartz shared this video with us. It was taken around 9 O'clock near 110th Avenue and Northern, facing the University of Phoenix Stadium.

We also received several photos of the lights from other viewers.

So what are they?

We did some checking.

Luke Air Force Base says it wasn't them and Glendale Police didn't know anything about the lights either.

But then we got a tip about sky divers at the "Out West Balloon Fest" happening in that very same area...and mystery solved!

Those lights were these guys. They're the Arizona Skyhawks Parachute Team, based out of Phoenix. They confirm it was them jumping last night as a part of the balloon festival.

Now take a look at this. It's a video of the team making a nighttime jump. You can see the sparks shooting from their shoes as part of their act.

When they jump, the sparks flicker in and out based on how they move and when their parachutes deploy.

The team says they often get calls about strange sightings, especially when they jump at night, but no need to worry, it's them.
