This comes after controversy surrounded the Presidents last visit to the valley two months ago. The President's motorcade drove past the VA center twice, but he did not stop which angered veterans who gathered outside the center.
The White House says the President will travel with the Secretary of Veterans Affairs Bob McDonald where they will meet with Phoenix VA officials and discuss the changes to veterans care.
Last April a nationwide scandal started in Phoenix after there were reports from whistle-blowers about veterans about delayed health care.
Since then the VA has enacted several changes nationwide to improve the quality of service veterans receive at the centers.
