Pedestrian injured in Phoenix crash

Police are investigating a crash that ended up injuring a pedestrian and damaging a building.

It happened near 24th Street and Oak in Phoenix around 5:30 p.m. Monday.

Investigators believe two cars crashed, one of them left the roadway striking the pedestrian and stopped against one of the buildings.

Paramedics rushed the pedestrian to the hospital, they are last listed in critical condition.

Phoenix Police say impairment does not appear to be a factor, they have traffic restricted in the area while they investigate.
