Custom Cadillac stolen from man's garage

A souped-up Cadillac was stolen right out of the owner's garage while he was sleeping, just days before it was set to be displayed this weekend at the "Lowrider Super Show" in Glendale.

This cool car would be hard to miss because it has a unique paint job. The owner took a lot of time and effort getting the car to be ready for the show, and he really wants it back.

The 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood is painted "candy red", with custom grill and rims. Anthony Oliver put a skirt on the car and worked on the hydraulic setup.

"I saw it on Facebook, on social media, it was an eye opener, a very unique paint job, a very unique car, so when I saw it, I had to have it," said Anthony Oliver.

Now he says the eye catching car disappeared from his garage. He says he had left the Cadillac right next to his other souped-up car before his two-week-old purchase was stolen.

"I put the car in the garage, left the keys in the ignition for some reason, and closed the garage," he said.

Oliver woke up to find his car gone and called police.

"I was shocked, how did they get into my house, I thought somebody was playing a prank on me," said Oliver.

Oliver is new to his neighborhood near 43rd Avenue and Southern, but he believes someone may have an opener to his garage.

"I think they pushed the car out of the garage, started it up, and drove off," he said.

Oliver said whoever has the car is likely not driving the hard-to-miss car around, and Oliver doesn't think he'll ever see it again.

"It's probably in somebody's backyard right now, getting stripped," said Oliver.

The owner is asking everyone to keep an eye out for the car, if you do see it, you are urged to call the police.
