Woman in need of kidney finds donor through unique ad

A young mother from Portland, Maine, was struggling with kidney failure. She was on the transplant list with little hope when she came up with a unique idea.

Christine Royles posted a heartfelt plea for a kidney donor on the rear window of her car.

Incredibly, a stranger saw her driving around, read the ad and offered to help.

Josh Dall-Leighton was classified as a strong match and the kidney transplant surgery is set for may.

He is a husband and father to three boys, two of which have special needs.

The transplant and recovery will take a lot out of both Royles' and Dall-Leighton's bank accounts.
