Some people wanted to know if the City of Mesa would be ready for another similar type of shooting if it were to happen again.
"When we talk about preparing for the future, one thing that we pay attention to is we never have all the answers. And we're never as good as we can be. So one thing we work on is what do we learn for every incident as well, so we do extensive training and scenario-based training," said Mesa Police Assistant Chief Michael Dvorak.
One man was killed, and five others were wounded at several locations during the shootout and search on March 18.
Ryan Giroux, the suspect, is facing nearly two dozen charges including first-degree murder.
