Tempe Police are looking for a suspect involved in a homicide from overnight.
Police say 39-year-old Julio Cesar Hernandez fatally shot his ex-wife's new boyfriend and then took off.
It happened near University and Beck.
Investigators say Hernandez went to the apartment to confront his ex-wife, and her new boyfriend.
When she ran to call police, Hernandez shot and killed her new boyfriend.
Detectives consider Hernandez armed and dangerous. They are asking anyone who knows where he may be to call police.
He's believed to be driving a beige or tan 1999 Mercury Marquis Sedan with Arizona License BKG0211.According to Tempe Police Lt. Mike Pooley, Hernandez and his ex-wife have a history of domestic disputes; he has been arrested for related offenses in the past.
The estranged couple share two children; they were inside the apartment at the time of the shooting.
