Sunset Hills Elementary School on lockdown after receiving threat

Dysart School District officials say Sunset Hills Elementary was put on lockdown after the school received a threatening phone call message.

Surprise Police say the call came in around 1 p.m. prompting staff to call authorities. 

Authorities say all security procedures were implemented and Surprise Police officers are on site near Spring Lane and Sierra Montana Loop.

Per DSD's Jim Dean, school will dismiss at the regular time of 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
