Sapp was arrested in downtown Phoenix for allegedly assaulting two escorts the night of the Super Bowl.
In the tapes, Sapp is very frank about the incident. The interview may not be suitable for all ages.
Sapp admits to paying the women to perform sex acts but denies assaulting them.
Surveillance video from the hotel showed two women getting into an elevator with NFL Hall of Famer Warren Sapp.
Sapp told investigators, he met the women at the hotel bar, they went up to his room, and he paid them $300 each.
"I put the $600 on the table, everybody got naked, we were doing what we were doing, we were in the bed, and I started taking pictures of the two ladies naked, taking pictures because I'm silly like that sometimes," said Warren Sapp.
Sapp admits one woman gave him oral sex, and at some point he got annoyed with one of the women and told her to leave. A dispute began when the woman demanded more money and Sapp refused.
Eventually, Sapp said he physically let both women out of his room.
"My phone is in my hand; the other girl grabs my phone, so then I gotta go outside and get my phone back. So I go to the door and say "gimme my phone," and she said now you are outside your room naked, and I was," he said.
The woman used his phone to call security. They left the hotel, then alerted police to what happened.
"She does have a mark on her arm, like a hand mark," said Sapp.
"Did you at any time grab her?" asked a detective.
"No, I'm telling you her friend was grabbing her, taking her out the door, she snatched the phone out of my hand. I didn't touch her," said Sapp.
"Ok," said the detective.
"I didn't touch her," said Sapp.
Later, Sapp had an apparent breakdown, after realizing he was going to go to jail.
Sapp was arrested and charged with two counts of assault, and one count of soliciting a prostitute.
Sapp is due back in court on May, 18. If he is convicted, he could face up to six months in prison.
