Molly Ringwald in the valley talking at the Phoenician

She starred in some of the most loved movies of the 1980's; Molly Ringwald was in the valley. She wasn't talking showbiz but instead talking to Valley moms.

"You'll remember Molly from her scenes in The Breakfast Club, 16 Candles, and Pretty in Pink. With dozens of films under her belt, and even some tunes to share, what she loves most is being a mom.

"It's very hectic, I have three kids, one is in 5th Grade, and others are in kindergarten, and they have a lot of activities, so I'm working a lot, I travel, I sing and do things like this, and now they're getting to the age where they can travel with me," said Molly Ringwald.

Ringwald is addressing moms at Mom 2.0 at the Phoenician, talking storytelling, and the importance of sharing life's moments with your children.

"I've always been interested by people who have always been interested in stories, and my mother is a fantastic storyteller, she's the one who really got us into books," said Ringwald.

And while it's her movies that people remember most, she says writing books is one of her new passions.
