It's graduation day for Flavio and Favio Pulido, a monumental moment in both of their lives. It's a year in the making; the Pulido brothers graduated from Universal Technical Institute in Avondale. Their proud parents in the crowd were cheering them on.
Flavio and Favio are now on their way to new careers as car mechanics, but it wasn't easy getting there.
The brothers have grown up around cars, their father was a mechanic for 33 years, he taught them a lot of what they know, but he wouldn't let them stop there.
"Our parents always pushed us and told us you're not going to get anywhere without a degree or an education," said Flavio Pulido.
Favio said, "I struggled in high school, I believe because of the language."
But naturally, as twins they like to do most of the same things.
"He follows me everywhere," said Flavio.
Who follows who is still up for debate, but they both ended up at UTI.
After a lot of hard work and a little friendly competition, the twins ended up with perfect GPAs, and a ticket to a successful future.
"Every time we both passed a class, I'm always trying to beat him," said Flavio.
"I got a couple of jobs lined up now; it's just a matter of choosing which one is better for me," said Favio.
The possibilities are endless for both men.
They are both considering several job offers on the table, and they are hoping to be able to work at the same place.
In fact, many car dealerships have told them they would like to hire them together.
