6.8M quake rattles northern Japan

 A 6.8 magnitude earthquake has rattled northern Japan.

The quake epicenter was estimated around 130 km northeast of Sendai Japan, at a depth of 38 km.

The quake started around 2:12 p.m. Arizona time.

There have been no reports of serious damage or injuries.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center in Hawaii says there is no tsunami threat to Hawaii or the west coast.
