Nothing remains on scene, but you can see the skid marks within the intersection. It's here where a car driven by a 17-year-old girl collided with a pick-up truck driven by 18-year-old Harrison Smith.
Both had just graduated last night.
The crash happened after Midnight.
A third teen from Texas identified as 18-year-old Jasmine Rios, was a passenger in the car. She had come to Arizona to visit. Rios was badly injured and rushed to an area hospital where she died.
"The passenger that was in the car she was like just pinned, she couldn't get out, she was barely moving," said one witness.
Gilbert Police are investigating whether alcohol was involved.
"When I did get to the car I did some some liquor bottles in the back and in the front... the car with the girls in it," said another witness.
The teenage girl driving the car tweeted this morning saying: "I would like to issue a statement saying that I was not drunk while driving."
