2 suspects in Scottsdale jewelry store robbery sought

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) -- Police in Scottsdale are searching for two suspects accused of robbing a jewelry store at gunpoint.
Sgt. Benjamin Hoster says two men walked into Robert C. Wesley Jeweler-Gemologist store on 5th Avenue on Friday morning shortly before 11 a.m.
Two store employees told police that one suspect had a handgun and the other a hammer. The employees say they were ordered to the ground by the suspect with a gun.
The other allegedly used the hammer to smash display cases and take merchandise.
They were then seen heading south on Marshall Way in a dark-colored Chevrolet Malibu or Impala.
The suspects are described as black, in their 20s and wearing dark hoodie sweatshirts.
