Police: couple held teen parties, offering alcohol and drugs

Garett and Kindrea Soliven are facing serious charges after police say they invited teens over to parties at their Peoria home, giving them alcohol and marijuana.

Police say the Soliven's would play drinking games where they encouraged teens to strip and dance on a stripper pole at the house.

"Shocked, but not surprised," said a neighbor.

One neighbor said she would see photos of the wild parties in Instagram.

"I think it's really sad, we always smelled marijuana and we told them time and time again," said the neighbor.

Garett Soliven was also accused of molesting two underage teens. Kindrea Soliven faces a child abuse charge because authorities say she knew one of the victims was being molested and didn't call police.

"It's not okay... there's a child involved, there's a victim here, there's a duty to report, there's a duty to keep that child safe. In this case the suspect failed to keep the child safe and failed to protect the child," said Officer Isabel Wolfe.
