Get your bidding prices ready, hundreds of pieces of Bill Johnson's Big Apple memorabilia are up for auction.
"I would like to buy one of those booths, the tables are unique, he had those special made," said Ken Rowley.
Many long time customers who have special memories of the restaurant want in on the keepsakes.
"My wife and I came here, first thing after our wedding reception, so this is where we go to, that was in 1967," said Rowley.
Ken is after some booths and the little-covered wagons.
Even the auctioneer George Cunningham has special memories of the place.
"Dad would bring us here, and we would have apple pie and ice cream," said George Cunningham.
The auction is active now, at www.auctionaz.com and nearly everything is up for sale.
"The building is going to be demolished; we're selling air conditioner units, bathroom fixtures, lights, all the tables, any memorabilia," said Cunningham.
On Tuesday, a showing will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., this is the last time you can walk into the restaurant and check out all the items that are up for auction.
"All you need is a credit card and address, and you're registered to bid. You'll be e-mailed a bidder number, and then you can bid from there," he said.
Opening bids start at $5; you have until noon on Wednesday to make an offer. The organizers are expecting everything to sell.
