The valley has it's own group called the 6-0-2 Chive Crew, and this weekend they are working hard to help a young girl in need of medical care.
"Anytime that I can give back makes me feel like I'm making a difference," said Kyle King.
Kyle King is a Chiver, and part of an online community doing good works throughout Arizona.
"Last weekend we had an event with one of the chive groups where they went downtown and fed 300 homeless people, gave out something like 30 cases of water... anything that we can do to help individuals or help our city give back," said King.
This weekends event is a car wash to raise money for 9-year-old Victoria Drummond. She was born with gastroschisis, her bowels formed outside her body.
"She's currently unable to eat any food right now; she's on a formula drink," said Jessica Ray.
Victoria is all smiles, but it's been a tough road, growing up with a serious medical condition. Specialized testing in Los Angeles could delivery some much-needed help.
"We're going in to see what parts are not working so that hopefully there is hope for her future," said Ray.
Insurance doesn't cover the entire cost of her treatment, so her family launched a Give Forward page, a Chiver spotted it on Facebook and decided to get involved.
"We got the car was going, and a slide for kids, we got gifts we're going to be raffling off, so anyone that can come out and support this family would be awesome... it's great to help someone in need so they can live a normal life," said King.
The Chive Crew will be out washing cars at Phoenix Indoor Karting at 35th Avenue and Greenway, and then they will be back out there at 9 a.m. Saturday.
