Miracle Mile Deli re-opens in the valley

It is a new day at one Valley institution, many know it as the Miracle Mile Deli.

The deli closed it's locations, only to open a brand new one.

Phoenix's own Miracle Mile Deli is a Valley staple and has been in business for 66 years.

"We've done a streamlined, modern architecture; we were able to create the space the way we wanted to," said Josh Garcia.

The same great name, and same amazing food, but they have made some changes at this new location.

"Indoor, outdoor dining environment, we have a new take away window that customers can grab lunch Monday-Friday. They can place their order online, call ahead, they don't even have to walk in the building when they get a take-out order," said Garcia.

The deli has beer on tap and new milkshakes too.

John Whistler visits the deli often. "I used to work right around the corner at the old place, and I used to come over walking," he said.

For some of the best lunch in town, and now breakfast on Saturday and Sunday.

The deli is located on 16th Street just south of Highland. To celebrate the grand opening, you can visit the deli or their Facebook page to enter a contest giving you free sandwiches for a year.
