Phoenix Police name person of interest in double-murder case

Nearly three weeks after the bodies of two men were found in the backyard of a vacant Phoenix home; police have named a person of interest in the case.

The bodies were found in the back yard of a home near 15th Avenue and Hadley.

The person of interest in 34-year-old Jesus Duarte Junior. He's wanted for questioning in a double murder that happened in May.

Both of the victims were shot and killed, but their identities have not been revealed.

Police say both of the families live in Indonesia, and they have not been able to reach them.

"It was a grisly find for the homeowner to come home, and find two people that she knew dead in the backyard," said Sgt. Vince Lewis.
