Hillary's Re-Re-Introduction

Everybody knows Hillary Clinton is running for president. She debuted a very highly-produced video some weeks back. That was a sort of re-introduction, after her failed campaign in 2008. Now she has re-re-introduced yourself with a big rally in New York City. Hillary picked Roosevelt Island for a backdrop, and celebrated Franklin D. Roosevelt.

That's not a very controversial choice: he's the man on the dime. Even Ronald Reagan said he admired Franklin Roosevelt. Hillary is all about safe democratic talking points. Her biggest theme is that even though the economy is recovering, average people don't feel it. But she said nothing to indicate she will take on Wall Street. She's smart and accomplished and diligent, but watching her you don't get the feeling she will generate anywhere near as much enthusiasm as Barack Obama did when he ran. Her campaign will be a big battleship steaming steadily forward.

Hillary Clinton actually needs no introduction, and certainly not a re-re-introduction. She's been around so long everybody pretty much knows how they feel about her. The only question is how they'll feel about whoever runs against her on Election Day.
