Arizona's oldest living, active barber

Most 94-year-olds are well into retirement, but not one Mesa man. He's still working as a barber.

This weekend, his friends, family and long-time clients gathered to to celebrate Arizona's oldest living and active barber.

At 94-years old, Joe Davis is still working. He started cutting hair in 1940, 75 years ago, and hasn't stopped since.

Davis opened up his shop in Mesa.

"I just started out with just me and my wife," said Davis.

He's not only a barber, but he's been the sounding board and friend to the thousands of clients he's had over his long career.

All the styles have changed over the years, but one thing remains the same: Joe's dedication to the profession and his clients.
