911 calls in Goodyear stabbing; mother killed with 7 kids in house

37-year-old John Leo Davis is accused of murdering his wife at their home in front of their seven children. Davis, one of the children, and another woman all called 9-1-1.

Davis was hysterical and emotional as he told the 9-1-1 operator what he had done.

"We got into a big fight, and I just lost it... I'm so sorry," said John Davis.
"Ok John I'm with you, I'm with you, just talk to me," said the 911 operator.
"I stabbed Michelle," said Davis.

Davis made the chilling confession to the 9-1-1 operator and explained what led up to the killing.

"She told me she's kicking me out of my own house because I smacked my son, and she said she was going to call the cops on me and kick me out... I can't believe I did this, I'm so sorry," said Davis.

35-year-old Michelle Davis was found dead, lying in the front doorway of their home. Some of the couple's seven children ran out of the house and flagged down a neighbor who also called for help.

"911, what's the emergency?" said the 911 operator
"Yes, there's been a stabbing in a home here," said the neighbor.

The woman then walked over to the home to check on Michelle.

"She's stabbed in the back multiple times; there's a lot of blood here," said the neighbor.
"Is she breathing and awake?" asked the operator.
"Let me see," said the neighbor.
"Is she moving?" asked the operator.
"No, she's not moving... ok I feel a pulse," said the neighbor.

John Davis Junior is now facing charges of domestic violence and first-degree murder in the death of his wife. He has pleaded not guilty.
