FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) - Northern Arizona is expected to get hit with the biggest winter storm of the season this weekend.

The National Weather Service says the Grand Canyon and Williams could get about two feet of snow from Saturday through Monday. The forecast calls for 17 inches in Flagstaff and up to three feet at the Arizona Snowbowl.

Gas stations around Flagstaff are displaying sleds and winter gear for expected snow revelers.

Forecasters say the heaviest snow will fall late Sunday through Monday. The exact amount will depend on the snow level.

The Arizona Department of Transportation is preparing for tough road conditions by sending snow plow drivers from Tucson to Flagstaff and Holbrook.

Rain is expected in lower elevations, including Oak Creek Canyon, Payson and Prescott, with a chance of flooding.Copyright 2015 The Associated Press modified.
