Arizona DPS officers find a pipe bomb in a Phoenix home

PHOENIX (AP) - Arizona Department of Public Safety officers say they discovered a pipe bomb in a Phoenix home while serving a search warrant.

DPS officials say the pipe bomb was found Wednesday near 37th Street and Kings Avenue.

They were assisting federal immigration agents serving a narcotics search warrant the item was discovered.

Details of the federal investigation aren't immediately available.
