LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. (AP) - A California man wanted on charges he scammed hundreds of people in three states has been caught in Arizona.
The Today's News-Herald reports that 46-year-old Robert Musich remained jailed on bond Sunday following his arrest in Lake Havasu City.
Lake Havasu City police spokesman Brian Jacobs says Musich, of West Covina, California, is accused of setting up a phony business and sending invoices to people for fire insurance inspections that never happened.
Jacobs says Musich victimized people in Arizona, California and Nevada.
The Nevada Attorney General's Office issued a federal warrant for Musich on Thursday on charges of theft and fraud to obtain money and property.
Musich is awaiting extradition to Nevada. Mohave County jail officials did not know if he had an attorney.
