Phoenix man gets prison term for having child porn in home

PHOENIX (AP) - A man is headed to prison for having child pornography in his Phoenix home.

A Maricopa County Superior Court judge on Friday sentenced Christopher Ray Jurgens to 10 years in prison plus lifetime probation on three counts of attempted sex exploitation of a minor.

According to police, Jurgens lived in a home near a school bus stop in the area of Van Buren and 32nd streets.

Police said there were no children living in Jurgens' home but detectives found candy and drinks made for children as well as children's clothing, toys and coloring books.
