The Maricopa County Attorney's Office says most of the charges against Uncle Sam's owner Bret Frimmel and all charges against manager Lisa Norton will be dismissed.
The dismissal was prompted by a court decision earlier this week that barred the county from enforcing two state laws that made it a crime to use fake or stolen IDs to get jobs.
Frimmel still faces charges of forgery and taking the identity of another.
He has pleaded not guilty to those charges.
Frimmel was the first and only employer in metro Phoenix to be charged with identity theft under a law aimed at employers who hire immigrants living in the U.S. illegally.
