FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) - Crews are plowing highways in the Flagstaff and Williams areas due to snowfall in parts of northern Arizona.
The Arizona Department of Transportation reports snow Friday morning on segments of Interstates 17 and 40 near Flagstaff.
The National Weather Service says rain and snow shower activity will increase during Friday from west to east, with snow becoming more widespread in the afternoon.
Thunderstorms are also possible in the afternoon and early evening hours.
Shower activity is expected to decrease Saturday, with drying conditions Sunday before a chance for a showers and a slight cooling trend Monday and Tuesday.
