TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - A Tucson man suspected of killing his ex-wife 15 years ago and then his mother-in-law and a third woman just a few years later has been arrested.
Pima County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Chris Nanos said 46-year-old David Duane Watson was taken into custody Saturday night at his home without incident.
Nanos says Watson is being booked on three counts of first-degree murder.
Nanos says technology and the discovery of more information led to the arrest.
Authorities say Linda Watson was involved in a bitter child custody dispute with the suspect when she disappeared from her home on Aug. 21, 2000.
Linda Watson's mother, 63-year-old Marilyn Cox, and 53-year-old Renee Farnsworth, a neighbor, were shot to death outside Cox's home in May 2003.
