Lashana Lynch, who plays Maria Rambeau in the movie, spent a couple of days in April of last year with female fighter pilots at Luke Air Force Base and even flew with Lt. Col. Kristin "Mother" Hubbard in an F-16 to learn what it's like to be in the U.S. Air Force, according to a spokesperson at the base.
