SURPRISE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Surprise Police say they have arrested 38-year-old Dewayne Hawkins for several sex offenses involving a 17-year-old girl.
Police say the victim was known to Hawkins, who used to be a part-time track coach at Valley Vista High School in Surprise.
School district officials have confirmed that Hawkins was employed by the school at the time of the alleged misconduct.
