Influx of visitors causing travel delays at Sky Harbor

If you're looking to catch a flight anytime soon, Phoenix Sky Harbor is recommending you give yourself plenty of time just in case you get caught in a line.

- With the combination of spring break, spring training and presidential candidates in town, Arizona is filled with visitors.

If you're looking to catch a flight anytime soon, Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport is recommending you give yourself plenty of time just in case you get caught in a line.

"Really huge crowds, we saw on TV and when we came in it was really bad here and driving just to drop off a rental car was really, it was way worse than O'Hare Airport," Mary Olbrisch said. "It's terrible here."

Before leaving Phoenix, crowds of people got stuck in line trying to get through security.

Two hours is what the airport recommends you give yourself before your flight boards, but that's not easy for some.

"Um, that's been a lifetime problem for me," Colleen Hallinan said.

Another good idea to save time is to check yourself in online before arriving at the airport and to carry on any luggage.

"Well, we enjoyed the weather, but the airport, no, we didn't like it at all," Joe Milone said.
