PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Phoenix police have released the identify of a woman killed in a three-vehicle crash that left others badly hurt in the Sunnyslope neighborhood on Saturday night.
The passenger who was killed has been identified as 37-year-old Kimberly Livingston.
Police say another victim remains in critical condition and is reportedly paralyzed.
Phoenix fire crews responded to the three-car collision at Eight Street and Hatcher before 6 p.m, on Saturday evening. Crews had to extricate at least one of the victims from a badly damaged vehicle.
Police say the driver of a black Nissan Versa ran a red light at a high rate of speed and crashed into the back of a white Camaro. The Camaro then spun out of control and crashed into a pickup truck. Officers say the driver of the Camaro was seriously hurt.
All six patients were rushed to the hospital, according to the Phoenix Fire Department. Officers say the driver of the Camaro was critically injured and is reportedly paralyzed. Police say the female driver of the Nissan, and the driver and passenger in the pickup truck are all in stable condition.
Phoenix police shut down streets in the area as they investigate on Saturday night.
The roads were back open Sunday morning.
