- So many people are out there looking for jobs, and employers are working to hire the right people but are having trouble finding them. Now if you're a job seeker, there is a new way to get a great job, even if you don't have a college degree.

Skillful.com from the Markle Foundation uses a focus on job training, not a degree to help motivated people create satisfying careers.

CEO Russ Yelton of Pinnacle Transplant Technologies used Skillful and appeared at a kickoff event in downtown Phoenix.

"We're looking for more people, we added 40 jobs last year, and it is a very competitive job market," said Russ Yelton.

"Skillful is a very practical tool. There are 70% of Americans who do not have a college diploma and those people have great skills," said Zoe Baird with the Markle Foundation.

The co-founder of LinkedIn helped get Skillful going.

"So we are trying to tie it all together in one single system, so a job seeker can find all the resources they need in one place, a whole pathway that gets them to the career they want," said Allen Blue.

Skillful.com also gives job seekers access to career coaches called Navigators, a big help if you're looking for a job.
