Officials with the Arizona Department of Public Safety are searching for the driver of a silver vehicle involved in a hit and run that left a young teen seriously injured.
On Saturday August 29, at approximately 2:00 p.m. DPS troopers were called to a crash along State Route 260 at the junction of SR 277 in Heber, Arizona.
Once on scene, troopers learned that a 14-year-old boy had been riding a scooter on the sidewalk when he was struck and seriously injured by a silver vehicle.
The driver of that vehicle did not stop and has not been located at this time, according to officials with DPS.
The boy was transported to Show Low hospital with serious upper torso and head injuries.
