GLENDALE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - A man was killed in a two-car crash after he ran a red light and collided with a semi-tractor at a Glendale intersection.
Glendale police say 34-year-old Omar Portillo died after he failed to stop for a red light and collided with a semi-tractor at the intersection of 75th Avenue and Glendale Avenue at 4:20 a.m.
Investigators do not believe impairment was a factor in the crash.
The driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries.
The intersection was closed throughout the morning, but was re-opened just before 11 a.m.

The investigation is ongoing by police.
