CHANDLER, Ariz. - A semi-truck fire closed the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 near Wild Horse Pass on Monday afternoon.
According to Bart Graves of the Department of Public Safety, no injuries have been reported.
Both westbound lanes are closed, but the eastbound lanes of I-10 remain open.
Per the Arizona Department of Transportation, all traffic will be detoured off the highway at Riggs Road. Drivers may take Riggs Road west State Route 347 north to I-10. There is no estimated time to reopen the highway and drivers should prepare for delays.
The truck was carrying frozen foods.
