- A valley company is working around the clock to print T-shirts in support of fallen a Phoenix police officer.

T-shirt after T-shirt, printed, folded and run through the dryer.

"We haven't been able to keep up with the command yet, but we are trying to get there," said Sgt. Rich Stringer of the Glendale Police Department.

Sgt. Stringer asked his friend at M&J Trophies to help create this T-shirt in memory of fallen Phoenix Officer David Glasser.

It's part of a promise Sgt. Stringer gave to Officer Glasser years ago.

"I told every recruit when they graduated on the last day that sometimes you can do everything right and it's still not enough and if your day comes, we are going to take care of your family," he said.

One way he's doing that is buy selling these $20 T-shirts and the demand for them is high.

"Since we went online with order last night, we have had several order from out of state," he said. "It's been really heartwarming."

Michael Albarez is the one behind the printer making sure each shirt is lined up correctly before it's stamped.

He's working non-stop to complete orders.

"It's rated at about 400 pieces an hour and right now, I'm making about 34 dozen an hour," he said.

"Sgt. Stringer has kept his promise and says the thousands of dollars they've already raised will go directly toward Officer Glasser's wife and two young kids that he leaves behind.

"I want to sell T-shirts until the last person who wants one gets one, so as long as it takes, but usually three-to-four weeks," he said.
