Cardinals safety could face assault charges

- Arizona Cardinals safety Chris Clemons could face assault charges stemming from a fight outside a Scottsdale nightclub in May.

The Scottsdale Police Department have recommended to prosecutors that charges should be filed against Clemons after a 25-year-old woman was assaulted outside the nightclub on May 8.

The incident happened outside the International Boutique Nightclub in Old Town Scottsdale on May 8. According to witnesses, the woman was knocked unconscious at the nightclub.

Police say they want the 30-year-old football player to be charged with assault with reckless injury and disorderly conduct.
